Swedish massage is a great way to relieve tension built up by everyday stresses using techniques designed to improve circulation and flexibility, lengthen and relax muscles, and improve general health and well being.

To ensure you leave feeling soothed, relaxed and re-energized each massage will be customized to your specific needs using as much or as little pressure as desired.

Anyone can benefit from sports massage, from world class athletes to weekend joggers. This type of massage is a deeper more intense massage often focusing on specific areas. Regular sports massage can help maintain or improve range of movement and muscle flexibility.

Pre-event massage is designed to supplement an athletes warm up to improve circulation while, post-event massage is geared towards reducing muscle spasms and enhancing the body's own recovery process reducing the risk of injury.

This treatment employs massage techniques designed to treat both deep and superficial tissues. By addressing the specific needs of each individual, this type of massage can be a very effective way to prevent and treat muscle injuries, pain and soreness.

Remedial massage can be used to help alleviate low back pain and sciatic pain which are more likely to originate from muscles than vertebral disc problems.

Massage during pregnancy (after the first trimester) can be thoroughly relaxing which in turn benefits both mother and unborn child. Lying mainly on your side, supported by pillows, each massage will involve a range of techniques  including Swedish, deep tissue, acupressure and lymphatic drainage.

Pregnancy massage is designed to help reduce stress, promote relaxation and alleviate symptoms associated with pregnancy such as back ache, tired legs and feet, anxiety and insomnia.  This soothing and calming massage can be an effective way to help prepare your body for childbirth.

Massage using direct heat from the basalt stones (which absorb and retain the heat) can allow access to deeper muscle layers without adding too much pressure.

This helps muscles relax 4-5 times quicker than  other massage. Often having a sedative effect, hot Stone massage can help relieve chronic pain and promote deep relaxation, perfect after a hard days work!
